The VOS Production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a huge success.

The Car

Widely knows as the largest and most complex prop in modern theatre, Chitty is massive challenge for any group to create.  VOS volunteers banded together around our resident genius Robb Howells with help from Scott Berry to create a magnificent car for use onstage, complete with wings! [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwXLyvMokpY] VOS Theatre is also renting our complete set of COSTUMES & PROPS, including all of the inventions, such as the breakfast machine, the haircutting machine, & the sweets machine.  All have working parts and actually do the job! The hair cutting machine will remove a wig to reveal a bald head. The breakfast machine does crank out toast! Other pieces include Truly's motorbike, the Baron's car, the Child Catcher's cart, and the magnificent Music Box which operates with ease and seamlessly rotates Truly while she sings.
