The Outrageous Adventures of Sheldon & Mrs. Levine

A son’s elusive search for his mother’s happiness

Featuring Marg Kropf and Jamie Hunt

Just when you thought your family was the most dysfunctional on the block, along come Sheldon and his mother. Enter their strange, outrageous world of an all-consuming love-hate relationship that succeeds in giving insanity a good name. Share in the angst, the aggravation, the madness and the mail of two people who although thousands of miles apart, are still too close to each other for their own good.

A thirty-one year old son runs away from his overbearing mother. The play is a series of letters between them as each searches desperately to make sense of their relationship. We are taken to places like Tibet, Bismark, North Dakota, Graceland and Yuma, Arizona. This play is based on the book Sheldon & MrS. levine – An excruciAting correSpondence by Sam Bobrick and Julie Styne.
