Community Centre Stage
For the unforeseeable future our stage is dark, for the health and safety of the cast, crew and the audience. But that doesn’t mean we have stopped. Now the VOS is raising the curtain on the many individuals and groups that have, for the past 30 years, supported us, as volunteers; building and moving sets, performing on stage and in the orchestra, technical and stage crew, costumes, front of house, sponsors and patrons; purchasing tickets for performances that hopefully entertained and enlightened.
In fact, we are grateful to the entire region, and to show our support we are announcing a new initiative: Community Centre Stage
We will be dedicating the money we would have been committing to our venue deposit for our scheduled musical production to a number of charitable groups and worthy causes throughout the next 12 months. Each month a different group, cause, individual/family will be selected.
How can you help?
We need suggestions and nominations of groups, organizations to continue their good work, or individuals who require a little leg up or just deserve a thank you gift for their commitment to helping others.
