About VOS Theatre
Drawing on a highly talented membership of actors, musicians, dancers, and singers from across Northumberland County, Ontario, the VOS is a vibrant not-for-profit theatre group which has been presenting professional quality entertainment to the stage at Victoria Hall in Cobourg since 1990.
Our live theatre productions are a delight to the senses... beautiful music performed by a live orchestra, delightful sets, elegant costuming and attention to detail usually found only in high-cost professional theatre.
The VOS has a long-standing and strong tradition of providing talented local youth with ample opportunity to learn all facets of stagecraft from established core of knowledgeable and nurturing older members.
We also provide bursaries and a scholarship to local secondary school graduates who have made a contribution to the arts in the community.

Membership
VOS THEATRE has moved to a free membership model.
Our paid membership program was initiated to cover the costs of mailing newsletters and member events however given most communication is now electronic we have moved to a no fee volunteer model.
Sponsorship
The VOS is a non-profit organization that depends on the success of each production to fund the next show.
We are very fortunate to be based in an area where the local businesses are highly supportive of performing arts and promote their own endeavors by sponsoring our shows and advertising.
Annually, our full colour seasons brochure and our show programs are sent to thousands of theatre-going patrons. An advertisement in either of these publications or on our show posters will reach a broad-based potential clientele, from local citizens, to out-of-towners coming for an afternoon or evening of theatre.

Corporate or private endowment is tax-deductible and a wonderful way of supporting the community theatre.

An after hours answering machine will record your reservation needs at times outside hours of operation.
Tickets can be purchased using Visa, MasterCard or Interac, or in person at Victoria Hall.
The box office will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
